Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lemonshark Games ("we", "us") handles information when you play our mobile games, including Wordglen (each, an "App"), or visit lemonsharkgames.com.
1. Summary
Our games are free to play and supported by advertising and optional in-app purchases. We do not require accounts and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos. However, the advertising partners integrated in our Apps collect certain device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
2. Advertising and the data ad partners collect
Our Apps display ads through third-party advertising networks, including Google AdMob, Unity LevelPlay (ironSource), Unity Ads, AppLovin, Mintegral, and Meta Audience Network. To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and cap ad frequency, these partners may collect:
- device identifiers (such as Apple's advertising identifier, IDFA);
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, OS version, language);
- ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped).
Personalized ads only with your permission. On iOS, ads are personalized only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, personalized ads additionally require your consent through the consent form shown in the App, which lists the participating ad partners. If you decline, you still see ads — just non-personalized ones.
Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy: Google, Unity/ironSource, AppLovin, Mintegral, Meta.
3. Crash and stability data
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to receive crash reports — crash logs, device model, and OS version — so we can fix bugs. We have disabled Firebase Analytics.
4. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment details; we receive only confirmation that a purchase was made so we can deliver it.
5. Game progress, iCloud, Game Center, and reminders
Your game progress is stored on your device and, on iOS, may sync through your personal iCloud account so your progress follows you between your devices. That sync is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy — we do not run servers that store your progress and cannot access your iCloud data. Leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center under Apple's terms. Some of our Apps can send optional daily reminder notifications; these are scheduled entirely on your device, are off unless you enable them, and involve no data leaving your device.
6. Your choices and how to withdraw consent
- iOS tracking: allow or revoke at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- EEA/UK/Switzerland consent: you can change or withdraw your ad-consent choices at any time from the App's settings.
- Personalized ads (device level): you can also limit personalization in your device's advertising settings.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
7. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR applies, we and our partners rely on: your consent for personalized advertising; legitimate interests for non-personalized advertising, fraud prevention, and crash reporting; and performance of a contract for delivering purchases.
8. Your rights (EEA/UK)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because we do not hold personal data on our own servers, requests about ad-related data may be fulfilled by directing them to the relevant ad partner; we will help you do that — contact us at the address below.
9. US state privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" under some laws. You can opt out by declining the tracking prompt, using the device settings above, or contacting us.
10. International transfers
Our ad and crash-reporting partners may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, relying on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses as described in their policies.
11. Data retention
We do not store personal data on our own systems. Partners retain data per their published policies.
12. Children
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will help address it.
13. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above.
